EIGHT RULES FOR MARRIAGE: The essential Christian values of pre-marital counseling

If I was ever asked to officiate a wedding, I would meet with the couple and insist on these eight rules. To be clear, this list is composed of two categories, the first is sacramental, and the second is personal. The first four rules make a marriage Christian and indissoluble, the second four make it Biblical and good. Again, I would never marry a Christian couple if any of these eight things were not in order and agreed upon by both people in pre-marital counseling:
